i need this space
This is probably not the right infra to rebuild twitter
guests should be able to react, optionally hmmm
never figured out if you're supposed to wear white before during or after labor day
this is like posting on twitter, but even less people will see it. kinda freeing
i can't stop being meta, can't stop the self referential, well it's not even humor at this point
Computer Angel did this https://www.computerangel.world/blog
i'll probably have agents doing the change log sooner or later, and probably have agents in a private space doing some of the loop stuff, so might as well get started with the very human tweeting right here
I wish I could say this was meant to be a community space to emphasize human collaboration but I admit, there will be agents
oh yeah, i wanted to let guests react
should I create a thematic emoji set?
by thematic i mean it's going to have bolder outlines on simpler shapes and pastel colors
I'm trying to think what other spaces to add, I was imagining adding stuff like politics-discuss, or maybe it should be like reddit and just be politics
early reddit thrived with just a few power users, including the infamous u/maxwellhill
times are of course very different, I simply don't know how people behave in public anymore. All my friends in New York have public profiles of course, that's the thing to do. I do too https://dinosaurav.com
links and images...
oh yeah, and I don't know if I want to make this real names like Slack or anonymous gamer tags like Discord and Reddit or pseudonymous-friendly but identities like Twitter (that's what makes the most sense to me)
TBT to yik yak
Three big upcoming checkpoints:
- Voice/Video Calls
- iOS App and Notifications and Notification Manager
3
- stability and performance/scale tests
would love to separate out yttrium-spa to separate out caching, prefetch-intent, and some of the navigation and auth stuff.
honestly, I used to put notes like this into a doc while developing, but I have too many terminals and chat prompts open, so it's nice to be able to put it into the product so that's one less tab
just want to say I started working on this on Monday
I found an unwritten hallmark card in the pages of a book I just picked up. I don’t know what unknown occasion I bought it for…
Kind of interesting an idea of leaving notes for the next reader if you leave quests and notes and tell them not to skip ahead… I guess that’s a movie trope of finding key hidden information on a scrap of paper that falls out of a book, but maybe I should be leaving those messages not just finding them alzheimerically
I’m on my way to an honest to goodness Atrium right now, the National Portrait Gallery, will add the ability to post photos and then post one
Something that galls me in ai discourse is when people say “Claude said …” which is usually a useless piece of information without a model number. A couple years ago that meant something because Claude and ChatGPT and Grok were probably differing on ethical stances and stuff but now people are using AI for stuff about correctness. Just incorrect anthropomorphization
I’m really curious when my friends are gonna click on this. Hi. Atleast drop a react

The problem with this project is I don’t have a stopping point, there’s just infinite features to build but I feel like I can’t share/promote until I get certain other features finished. I’m trying to rein in the feature set
I'm rethinking atriu.me vs atrium.town, atriu.me is a fine shortener i guess, idk, probably only really useful for "profiles" but worth a shot
gonna use capacitor for the app rip $99
file upload? drive like folders? how should the channels be organized? what if it's just recency, pins and search. Seems kinda strange to lump voice rooms, channels, and files and folders into an abbreviated side view, but that's where we're at now...
need to make sure names and ids are separated for everything, I think I'm burning short names... but I do want nicely addressable short names
photo upload, links, change to atrium.town... should it be atrium (.town) with .town in gray on the logo or just keep it atrium? Capacitor app, join calls from phone. cursors on document
better invite links, default to public channels in options, not default to private, better private spaces and true private spaces (like namespaced like slack). That's probably a barrier for features that are focused on corporations vs features focused on community etc...
live interactive agents, webhooks
load test, latency test, crash/memory tests, better observability, per space observability
safety and moderation
I feel like page load is slow. IDK how to improve it exactly. Little bit embarassing when the pitch is sync and compatability. Also too many features pause when disconnected, instead of working right offline
let's gooooooo
got a toooon of new features
